Rushilo

Connect your AI

Rushilo has no AI of its own. It works with the one you already use.

Claude Code

  1. Install Claude Code and sign in with your Claude plan.
  2. In Rushilo, choose Connect agent. Under Claude Code, copy the command and run it once in a terminal. It adds Rushilo as an MCP server named rushilo.
  3. Keep Rushilo open, start Claude Code, and describe the edit you want. It sees your timeline and frames and edits while you watch. It uses your own plan; nothing goes through us.

Codex

  1. Install the Codex CLI and sign in with your ChatGPT plan.
  2. In Rushilo, choose Connect agent. Under Codex, copy the config and add it to ~/.codex/config.toml.
  3. Keep Rushilo open, start Codex, and describe the edit. It uses your own plan; nothing goes through us.

Claude Desktop, Cursor and other MCP apps

  1. In Rushilo, choose Connect agent and copy the MCP JSON under Claude Desktop, Cursor and other MCP apps.
  2. Paste it into that app's MCP settings and restart the app.
  3. Keep Rushilo open while the agent works, then ask it to edit your project.

Your own API keys

  1. In Rushilo, open Settings and find Your AI keys. This is optional.
  2. Paste a key for a provider such as OpenAI, Groq, ElevenLabs or Google Gemini and save it.
  3. Rushilo uses it for captions, voiceovers and images, calling the provider straight from your computer. Your provider bills you directly.

Captions on this computer

  1. In Rushilo, open Settings and choose the On this computer tab.
  2. Download Whisper base to transcribe captions on the device.
  3. Your media never leaves your computer, and it costs nothing to run.
